She continually enhances her practice through advanced training workshops and seminars, maintaining consistent supervision.

Áine’s specialised training includes the Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1, 2 & 3).

Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Since beginning her practice in 2015, Áine has embraced the core values of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. She believes in the power of choice, responsibility, and creativity that each client possesses in their journey towards healing and self-discovery. By recognising the unique and subjective experiences of each individual, Áine approaches therapy with the understanding that every client is a dynamic being, integrating their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves.

Áine dedicates herself to her clients. She walks alongside them, helping them overcome obstacles that hinder their true self-expression.

Using an integrative approach, Áine tailors her therapy to meet the specific needs of each client. Whether you seek couples counselling in Dublin, anxiety therapy, depression counselling, psychotherapy Dublin, or EMDR therapy, her methodology ensures a flexible and responsive treatment plan. This approach engages with the client’s experience at the deepest level, facilitating a journey towards wholeness and well-being.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Áine brings a rich background of experience to her Dublin practice. She has worked with a diverse range of individuals and couples across various ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Over her professional journey spanning more than a decade, Áine has supported clients through many challenges. These include anxiety and stress, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, matters of sexuality, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, workplace issues, and the importance of self-care.

Beyond her practice, Áine has dedicated over 14 years to the NGO and non-profit sector. She worked both as a practitioner and a manager. Her work in the homelessness sector underscored her belief in fundamental rights to social justice, equality, and dignity for all individuals. This experience enriched her understanding and empathy, further informing her approach to counselling and therapy.

Áine fosters a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all her clients. She underpins the therapeutic relationship with warmth and acceptance. This approach supports clients as they navigate their paths towards healing and change.

Reflecting her dedication to accessibility and support, Áine’s fees are inclusive. She charges €75 for individual sessions and €90 for couples counselling. Her practice is a testament to her passion for facilitating personal growth and resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
